Guest guest
Here's a great opportunity to work with a team of integration aides supporting a 14 year old boy with autism in an outstanding supportive private school in Melbourne. This child started a 40 hour per week ABA program when he was three. and started at a mainstream school at the same age. He has enjoyed one on one integration aide support helping him to access the school curriculum up to the present. He's a verry propular student and it has been a highly successful program supported by international consultants in autism ( who have a local office in Melbourne)and a devoted dedicated family. Our speech therapist is also closely involved in supporting our program. Our senior therapist(integration aide) is getting married and leaving the team. So a vacancy has arisen for this position. There is a dearth of experienced ABA and VB therapists in Melbourne ( as the whole field is relatively new here )so we are looking further afield internationally to see if there is anyone who is interested in coming to Melbourne for at least one year. The school term starts in February 2007 through to December 2007 but if you are available to come earlier that would be good. If you are only available to come after February 2007 we would still consider your application because we are looking for someone who has some experience in the VB and/or ABA practical field. We would assist the appropriate candidate with all visa and living arrangements. It's a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to experience a new country with a lot of warm support and who wants to share very valuable knowledge and experience. No doubt you will reply on the group but you can also contact us through bevmax@... Many thanks
