Hi Everyone,

I just found 's podcast last Friday. I haven't listened to them all

yet, thought I would

do it more systematically. Friday I listened to number 13. Today I listened

to # 2 about

" away-from " motivation.

The six pounds I gained in the last couple weeks has convinced me I need to

get serious

about losing 18 pounds! For the last 4 years or so I have been 10 - 12

pounds over

weight. Since I turned 40 I have dealt with weight issues as high as 30

pounds over. I'm

now 53 years old.

Hopefully, I will heed what said about " away-from " and " toward "

motivation. It

would be just like me to lose the 6 pounds and stop at that.

In one of the podcasts, mentions a protein shake she makes for

breakfast. I don't

remember hearing any liquid ingredients mentioned. She said it has 3/4

banana, some

peanutbutter and some oatbran. Is this all it needs?

Hi Daze,

I'm not sure which sense you mean: )

Maybe you are asking if I enjoy or understand the

podcast: yes!

If you mean literally how I found the podcasts...I

checked for health related podcasts in iTunes. There

is a lot of cool science stuff in there too.
