Its worth a try, although in thinking about it, I may have more luck with

the psychiatrist that diagnosed him, we see him Dec 1 for more test results.

You will probably feel such relief after a few weeks that he is on medication.

 I have OCD and the kind of stuff you describe, just falls away after time on

meds.
