underwater treadmills and essential PT tools for a veterinary practice

Hello, Everyone –

Our small veterinary practice offers an ever-increasing list of

synergistic modalities such as acupuncture, cranial sacral massage,

chiropractic, VOM and cold laser. Although we often send our clients home with

some basic PT exercises, we have not yet officially offered PT at the clinic.

However, we are headed in that direction – and are researching underwater

treadmills. Through a client, we were steered to Shor-Line and their

Hydro-Physio HP 200 or 300L. They look great – but are pricey too! The treadmill

could be put on a leasing program, which we haven’t researched yet.

Before we proceed, does anyone in this group have recommendations for

first time buyers? What other companies offer dependable products? Are used

treadmills a good option? Any input you could offer would be appreciated.

Finally, if those of you who are experts at the PT end of the

veterinary business have suggestions about what other tools are essential to

successful PT, please send that information as well.
