Guest guest
Since you only noticed the dilated eyes since she started the meds, does the doc think it will go away with time? Just curious, because some side effects can resolve themselves with time, with these meds. Hope that is the case for you and your situation, Rose. Gee, I'm sorry she had to miss a field trip. OCD can sure rob them of their lives. :o/ We belonged to homeschool groups that had 2-3 field trips a month, when our son was younger. His OCD prevented him from going on some he really wanted to go to, due to OCD bathroom issues. So, we did what you are going to do, Rose. We would take him ourselves when he was capable of going, if that was an option. That's a good alternative, so they don't have to miss out completely. It is heartbreaking to watch OCD take things away from them. <sigh> But, it's also hopeful, when you see them work hard to get better, and improve. Don't lose hope, Rose. She can get better. ) (((hugs))) I WILL say a prayer for you. Let us know how her therapy goes, and how you like the doc. The first few appointments are usually information gathering and evaluation, but after that, she should start a hierarchy list and get to work, starting with the easiest stuff first, then working her way up to the harder stuff.
