My daughter Joei is loyal to her friends

 

She loves her family and shows her love

 

She also has a warped sense of humor, but I love it

 

She loves to dance

 

She keeps on keeping on, trusting in the process

Let's share something special about our OCDers..... something that

makes us smile or laugh or to be filled with pride. Come on now...

this is your time to boast your heart away about how talented or

beautiful or smart they are.....

My son

He has the sense of humor of a 35 year old raunchy man... he can make

me laugh harder than anyone else!

He plays guitar so beautifully, it fills me with pride.

He tells me I am the most beautiful woman in the world.

He is so sweet that he doesn't want any other human to feel left our

He has beautiful Hazel eyes that sparkle....

I'm game!

My son, , has a heart of gold.  He is 100% completely committed to

anything he chooses to do.  He cannot stand to see anyone hurt or in need. 

He carries himself with such confidence and knows who he is and what he stands

for.  Nothing sways that.  He makes very good, mature choices.

He is comfortable (maybe because of his ocd) talking to me about anything, and I

mean anything.  I am so proud to call him my son.

>What a wonderful idea! My son has a good heart. He watches

out for his younger sisters and brother. Even though he picks on them

a lot, he makes sure no one else does them wrong. He is very good at

math, well above his grade level. He relates everything to math and

numbers. School comes very easy for him, he is usually bored though

because he is waiting on the other kids to finish their work. He also

cares about those in need. There is a little boy in his class that

has diabietes and is his class buddy. He goes with him to the

nurse, stays in with him at recess, and helps him with anything he

needs. He also has a great sense of humor, which I guess you need

when you're going through what he is!

What a great idea Vicki. It's too easy to forget that your kid is more

than just his/her disease.

My son has great insight, is very curious and very sensitive and

sentimental. He has an infectious laugh that warms your heart and

makes your face hurt from smiling so much. He is very determined and

even in the midst of throwing up his hands in frustration, you know

he's going to regroup and come back to beat whatever it is that's in

his way. He makes us work so hard, and yet he is the reason we

appreciate all that we have and he makes us better people. I would

never want to imagine life without him.

This is a great idea! Thanks for suggesting it, Vicki!

Kate is very creative and intelligent. She has an amazing vocabulary and is

constantly impressing her teachers with her language skills. She is just a

really cute kid (she's 9 but looks more like 6 or 7) and loves to make me and

her daddy laugh.
