Guest guest
Ghee, if the butter is properly clarified, has all the milk solids removed so it makes an excellent high temperature cooking oil. It also will store a long time without going rancid. Grapeseed oil is also good for high temperature cooking and I've read it is very good about not smoking. ine
Guest guest
It is done to make it store well. It does this by getting rid of solids and water (the things that will allow bacterial growth) Soren > > What are the advantages of clarifying butter to make ghee? Guest guest
How much does this cost? Get it online? Is it as healthy as butter? Thanks! Kris They both have casein. Butter probably less than cream, I'd guess. However, ghee is effectively casein-free. I use Purity Farms ghee in place of butter.
Guest guest
We have been off of the diet for about two years now, but I used ghee a lot when we were on it. I bought mine, however. It came in a jar at the health food store. I didn't realize you could make it. > > Hi everybody, > Is anybody out there doing the GFCF diet and using ghee? Guest guest
My son's DAN dr recommends ghee for her patients. Purity Farms makes GFCF organic ghee labled as such. I have used it and I know many other people on GFCF use it as well. Haleh --- Kalinowski <cathykalinowski@...> wrote: > Hi everybody, > Is anybody out there doing the GFCF diet and using ghee?
