Guest guest
Hey these are 2 tics I will not miss in the slightest!! Hey doesn't have ADD? Dr wants to put him on meds for ADD and OCD, without aggravating the TS. It worries me to mix so many meds. In a message dated 12/1/2008 8:22:26 P.M. Yeah, maybe the BM and the spitting are both part of the TS, from what I was reading about TS. **************Life should be easier. So should your homepage. Try the NEW AOL.com. Guest guest
Hey We did decide to take your advise, and try just treating OCD, i really think the ADD isnt affecting as much as OCD, since his grades started to fall when it and TS began. Do you think not having the other boys tested made a difference? Easy......that would be sooooo nice In a message dated 12/1/2008 8:37:42 P.M. I do regret not getting a couple of sons tested. But ...I dunno, I think it might just be the OCD. I can't recall him being so " ADD " before his OCD began in 6th. Even then it seemed a couple years or so after that I wondered about ADD for him too, but straight A's in school still. Well if you start meds for both -- I would think he would start just one medication, see how that goes and then start another?? I have read here and elsewhere that it is sometimes hard getting a good " balance " of meds when treating both ADD and OCD. Maybe I should have said trying to find/adjust to the right dosage; like ADD med might aggravate OCD or other way around. Nope, nothing is ever EASY! Hopefully it will work out perfectly in your case! **************Life should be easier. So should your homepage. Try the NEW AOL.com.
