I have an interesting similarity with my family. Not the family days, but

with their attitude towards me.

Growing up, I was always the big eater. And to them, I am still that person,

even when I am trying not to be.

There is something about being around them that brings it out in me. Part

language, part familiarity and habit.

It is very hard to break old molds, when people are constantly stuffing you

into one. For me, its about getting over my old self image, which gets

reinforced when I spend time with them. For you, it sounds like it is a

matter of convincing them that not eating is not a sign of rejection.
