Religious Liberty vs Women's Health

The Obama administration is desperate to make the HHS/Contraceptive Mandate about "Women's Health". They know that they have no ground with the religious liberty issue. Look how hard they are trying to change the argument (reference Fluke's 11th hour testimony, the recent NYTimes ad, etc.) Most Americans understand the need for religious liberty -- they have an innate sense that imposing anything on a Church or affiliated organization is wrong -- don't need to spend alot of time reinforcing that one. If the Catholic Church spends alot of money on ads pushing the argument back there, the other side is just going to try to spend more money and yield more power pushing it back to women's health. Next, they'll drag out some poor woman suffering from endometriosis or PCOS saying

they must have their "medicine" and the Bishops are preventing them from getting it or some other lie. I don't think ignoring the women's health argument is going to make it go away -- Obama's support is now climbing with women 1 week after Fluke -- it must be answered. They'll go to it again and again. But, what if our group (or coalition of groups) were to build the case (based on theological, medical, spiritual, societal, and environmental factors) and SURPRISE them with this counterargument? I'm talking reevangelization of HV and TOB, articles, testimonies of women hurt by contraception, sterilization and abortion, you tube videos, research articles. We get all our organizations on the same page and put out the same stuff in a concerted effort to get the same messages out. Our own talking points. And all we would have to do is plant enough doubt about the "goods" of

contraception, sterilization and abortion, that they would have to leave their flawed argument, but all they would have to go back to is the religious liberty issue. We would win. It could work, with lots of prayer and fasting...
