What a poignant " twist " , as you say to a similar situation. Thank you for

sharing. As always, I learn so much from other parents' unique situations.

We had the same situation with our son - knowing his personality couldn't

process a disability label. He's fully aware of his differences and the

" stuff " he's working on, but without a name or reason for these things.

We look forward to sharing the label with him at some point, taking the cues

from him as to when (he's only 8 now). His self-esteem and confidence,

still fragile is our first priority for now.
