Hi Vicki,

I'm sorry for what you're going through. And your son.

Micah gets called weird and it hurts me so much, so I can relate. He just

cant fit in, he gravitates to the special ed kids, who accept him, even though

his tests come back on average/above average, socially he's delayed.

Micah loved to do the same thing when he was younger, he's now almost 12. I

still have trouble with him walking around his room with the shades open and

nude, and its not that he doesn't know, he doesn't care, we have had the

" lights on-shades get closed " rule since he was a toddler. But, he thinks its

funny to flash.

If I could put Micah in a private school I would, but its not a choice, as

there are none in our town. We are considering home schooling though.

I cant offer advise, just support, I hope the Dr appt goes well.

It is a small private Christian school.... Until this year,

was getting by okay in school... he is advanced, he is being tested

for the gate program... but, he is the odd man out. My heart breaks

for him.... I need input please.
