This is an interesting subject. I have had the virus for over 30 years but

wasn't properly diagnosed until recently. I did tell family and friends and

their reactions were varied. Today a 5 month relationship with a man ended

because he can't accept my disease and the days I just feel like shit. That is

an example of someone who just doesn't care enough to stick during the bad times

as well as the good. I think whatever works best for you is best. I am not

ashamed of my hcv, but I don't broadcast it either. There is very little info

out there for the public about hcv. lisa

Hi Michele!

Welcome to the group! That is so great that you are on your way to

getting the body you WANT! That is fantastic! Do you live close to

your grandchildren? My mom lives 30 minutes from me, which is 'too

far from her grandchildren'...haha.

I check this site everyday and I try to keep up with the posts, not

too many lately. Everyone must be Christmas Shopping!

What you said in your intro hit me like a ton of bricks.. " You cant

fix what you dont acknowledge " ...I have heard that before but it just

really did something to me today. Thanks so much for saying that...I

just need to figure out what I am not acknowledging..haha.

I live in Atlanta, Tx...not Austin....that city is pretty big! We

have about 5700 people here in this small town...We have a

WalMart...that's about it. Well, take care and have a great weekend!

It is indeed a busy time of year. For myself, my little one is having a lot more

trouble lately, so my computer time is much more limited (and interrupted).

Welcome to all the new members we have recently. If you are looking for 's

worksheets, please check the Files section of the group - a few are uploaded.

I wish I could also say this is my first group. But I have blogged and

promised and swore that this was it!!! But time after time I have

failed.. I also feel that these podcasts from are a God send.. I

am listening to about two a day to catch up but i feel I am getting

therapy sessions each time.. I mean how could this lady know so much

about me and my though patterns. I thought I was the only crazy one

that thought this way... LOL..

Well I am happy to have found this and look forward to the

encouragement and this time I wont put a timeline.. But I know these

extra 60lbs that have come on my body the past 10 years will be

gone!!! Good Luck to everyone...
