Incubating cream makes yogurt cream, and, yes, yogurt cream, creme fraiche, and sour cream are all approximately the same thing. Different peoples have different names for these and slightly different ways of making them. (I almost tripped over the word " cultures! " I guess different cultures - of people - literally have different cultures!) Sometimes they are thick and sometimes they can be poured. All of them are yummy!
