OK Folks, it is time for action! Please help children with autism and other

disorders get the funding they need from their parents' health insurance!

See Below!

And PLEASE, forward this to friends, family, other lists, and anyone you

think will help.

" Congressmen Kennedy (D-RI) and Jim Ramstad

(R-MN) are introducing a strong new version of the Wellstone bill for mental

health fairness. The bill, called the Wellstone Mental Health and

Addiction Equity Act, will finish the work that Senator Wellstone and others

started long ago to end discrimination against people suffering from mental

illness and addiction.

Now Congressmen Kennedy and Ramstad need our help.

On March 7, they plan to formally introduce the bill in the House, with a goal

of having at least 218

co-sponsors. Today, they have 160 co-sponsors. We have some work to do!

Here's how you can help.

First,

<http://www.wellstone.org/news/news_detail.aspx?itemID=9340 & catID=298>

click here to see if your representative has already signed on as a co-sponsor.

Next, call the toll-free mental health parity hotline:

1-866-PARITY4 (1-866-727-4894) to reach your member of Congress and either

urge them to

sign on as a co-sponsor or thank them for already doing so (part of successful

organizing is thanking elected officials when they do the right

thing!).

That's it -- a short, toll-free phone call that will help Congressmen

Kennedy and Ramstad introduce this important bill with a majority of their

colleagues as co-sponsors. For more information about the Wellstone bill and

other ways you can help us get it passed, visit our website,
