Guest guest Posted April 27, 2007 Report Share Posted April 27, 2007 As many of you know, the legislature of the state of Wisconsin's Joint Finance Committee removed language from the budget that would mandate insurance coverage for autism treatment. I have posted on http://bloggingforautismpower.blogspot.com the names and contact info for the Joint Finance Committee Members. Based upon a tip I received, there is a possibility that because of our efforts, the Autism provision may be re-added to the budget. If we continue the pressure on the members of this committee, I think we may be able to have our insurance mandate reattached! Please, everyone, lets create a deluge of support for this coverage! Also, I will be posting a sample letter that you can cut and paste and personalize that will be specific to the Joint Finance Committee! Thanks!
