I had a few experiences like that too. One told me our son was beyond help. A couple told me to hospitalize him, but I knew that would make him worse. We went to one that ridiculed our son for his fears. <sigh> I turned that one in. . .Big butthead that he was. I didn't want him doing that to another child. You are right, if that is the behavior of the office, it's probably not the right place for you. If they can't be compassionate than that over the phone, then you don't want them to be like that with Micah. Don't get discouraged. It took us 3 months, with me on the phone daily, to find someone.
