About the presenter:

Mr. Cepeda is the Educational Director for the ELIJA

school. The ELIJA school is an educational and

treatment environment for learners with autism located

in Bethpage, NY. Mr. Cepeda has been a Clinic

Supervisor for the Lovaas Institute and also

behavioral consultant to many families in New York,

New Jersey and Arizona. He has had over 13 years of

experience supervising, consulting, training and

speaking on the topics of behavioral interventions for

children with autism and has an extensive background

in working with learners in individual, small group

and classroom settings.

The Brooklyn Autism Center is in the process of filing

for tax-exempt status. IRS approval of the

application is anticipated in mid-2007. When the

foundation receives approval from the IRS, charitable

deductions will be allowable retroactive to the date

of incorporation, June 22, 2006.
