Guest guest
You are NOT alone Silvia, many others here understand how hard this is. I've been right where you are on all this and it is not fun. It is so hard to feel powerless to help your child get well and have to just stand by and wait until something changes. I sincerely hope that when your son gets to the psychiatrist this doctor can talk him into a med change if that is what is needed. Sometimes they can do this where a parent cannot. Also, until they are really on board for the CBT it makes no difference what doctor they see, that is provided of course the one he is currently seeing is experienced, our experience anyway. It may well be, as you suspect, that he is depressed, and the med change will help this and help to turn this aspect around too. I truly hope so. Hang in there. Warmly, Barb
