I have a 6-year-old, spayed, 16lb. Mini.Schnauzer, , that had a

unilateral Fibrocar. Embolism 7/4/08, and was totally paralyzed on her

left rear. Prior to her episode, she was an agility dog, so, quite

active. After biweekly-weekly visits, she regained the ability to walk,

run, jump 6 inches. Her owner recently had surgery on her hand and knee

and was unable to perform any home exercises for 6-weeks. She now

relayed to me that has regressed, still walking okay, but

noticed her seeming more " stiff " in her leg. She's always had issues

with stepping/walking backwards too. Has anyone had a similar case and

seen regression, and if so, is it permanent? Any supplementations you

recommend? She is on Science Diet Adult dry, and added

glucosamine/chondrotin, but anything else? Would adding protein be good

for muscle mass regaining? Any specific brands? Thanks a bunch and

Happy Holidays!
