Guest guest
I'm forwarding this announcement at the request of a member of my local upper-midwest oriented traditional foods list. If you're from the Twin Cities area, or you are going to be in town this Saturday, feel free to join in! I've removed the phone number so that it isn't hanging around in the public archives, but if you need the number, just let me know. Apologies to those of you who are on both lists, but we wanted to make sure we didnt' miss anyone... Minneapolis From Trad-Foods-MN: Hello, all! I want to invite anyone who is interested to come to a potluck at my house Saturday, 2/23, at noon. We can share information about food sources, as well as good food, and talk about the kinds of things we'd like to see a Weston A. Price chapter do in the Twin Cities. (I'm the founder of the St. chapter.) If you have interesting publications you'd like to show others, please bring those, too. If you know anyone who's not on the list who would like to come, feel free to invite them. Please bring a dish or ferment (or two) to share and, if there's time, email me to let me know what kinds of food you're bringing. My address is 2919 Buchanan St. NE, and I am including directions below. If you'd like to speak with me directly, my number is xxx-xxx-xxxx. I look forward to meeting you! Penny Kelsey Penelope.M.Kelsey-2@... Directions From the south: Take 35W north to Street. Follow Street, which will curve right immediately after the exit, to 29th Avenue. Turn right, and we're the fourth house on the right. It's a cream stucco one-story with red trim. From the north: Take 35W south to 88. Follow 88 south through several lights, past County Road D. At County Road C (29th Avenue), turn right. You will go through a number of stop signs. You will come to a stop light at Avenue. The major landmarks are Nan's Northeast Restaurant, a funeral home, a drycleaner, and a laundromat. Go two more blocks to the stop sign at Buchanan. Turn right, and we're the fourth house on the right. It's a cream stucco one-story with red trim.
