Guest guest
Hi Kim Glad to hear they offer classes. I live in a small town so I don't have that opportunity. But I have found a Pilates DVD that I really enjoy. Sounds like you have a good plan to overcome some obstacles in the future to. Good idea! Way to go Kim!! ~ Mocko started exercise class Hello everyone, Last night I started a low-impact aerobics class that also combines Pilates and Yoga stretches. The aerobics were tough and not entirely " low " impact, but I did okay. I'm from the Powter school -- whatever I can't do, I modify. Given the extent of health problems in my nervous and skeletal systems, I'm limited. I liked the Pilates and I've done yoga before, so I enjoyed that portion. I'm feeling okay today. I could have done without the moaning and complaining from some of the women there, but oh well. For $3 per class, who can complain about it? I'm hoping to learn more Pilates exercises, and I look forward to the yoga. I know they're not necessarily " fat burning " exercises, but the stretching and the toning hopefully will help to counteract the nerve damage and joint degeneration in my spine and extremities, and I hope it will allow me to do more aerobics. I may only be able to do this class until March anyway - my husband will probably start night school in March, so I'll have no appropriate child care for my little one ... but I'm hoping to join Curves in March ('no sign-up fee' promotion), which would allow me to work out in the morning instead of the evening (didn't sleep much last night, body too revved up from my evening workout). Guest guest
Your class sounds great! I think the trio of aerobics, pilates & yoga stretch is wonderful! Take advantage of that yoga...it feels so good after a long day!
