Guest guest
Hi, My son was always cold, an early symptom long before we knew he had lyme. His hands and feet were always cold. This was very abnormal for him. Also, it seemed that his temperature was lower right before his 4 week cycle and his herx began. And his worst herx was after he had been hot tubbing frequently. It has been back to normal now for about 3 months and he is pretty much symptom free(only slight fatigue) but still on Doxycycline. I' m wondering if this is related to the T3 / T4 thryoid problems they refer to with lyme?
Guest guest
I'm cold all the time too. I finally bought one of those heated matress pads - I can't stand an electric blanket. It has really done the trick for me. P
Guest guest
Hi , I am always cold too. I have so many blankets on my bed it is not even funny. My daughters are always complaining that the house is too warm. My sons came over to work here and opened the windows. Think the heated matress pads sound great, I might give them a try. Guest guest
Thanks everyone for your thoughts on honey and cheeses. What do people think about freezing? Are there certain foods that can be frozen without destroying their integrity? Henry Bieler describes in vivid detail the destruction of milk protein by freezing, so I won't be freezing cheese anymore. Being a household of one with a small appetite, it comes in really handy to be able to freeze some foods, but I don't want to be making any big mistakes with this. I've been freezing bananas and then heating them slightly in the toaster oven to thaw. Any problem with that, or other fruits?
