I guess I might not need that EMF device after all. I gave my introduction and

everyone disppeared. Do I need a bath or something? It's ok. Go ahead and

tell me if it's true....I can take it.

Actually that's not true. I've posted a couple of articles which never went

through. I'll re-send them when I get home now that the group mail seems to be

going through again.

Am I dreaming or is this real (just woke up) ... hypo is not seasonal. So no

traffic? Here's one for you. On Synthroid, sleeping too much, tired to much, go

to the big kahuna endocrinologist in this progressive university town (Madison

Wisconsin). Complete blood panels for everything. Big Kahuna's conclusion: I

need vitamin D suppliments! On D and still tired as hell. I mentioned the

naughty word T3 when meeting with the guy, and he grabs his head and says no no

no! You need nothing but T4, and if you think otherwise you are unbalanced.

How's that.

Re: Where did everyone go?

This must be a slow time for this disorder - for some reason we are

all stable right now? I noticed all the other hypo chat's I am on

our more quiet as well.

Personally, my hypo just kicked in a new phase. I was so stable

this summer. Fall hit and suddenly have some of the old symptoms

back. At least, maybe I can start upping my dose again.

BTW - can anyone time me if dark pigment spots on the face is

adrenal. I am having a terrible time with them this year and

thought I recalled seeing they are related to something, just can't

find the post. Plus, my entire body is tanning too easily and

darker than usual which is kind of bizzare.

Yes, I have been down that road. I do understand where they are

coming from. A reaction to T3 is no fun at all. You might get

further trying to get him to up your synthroid dose and see what

that does. Or, of course dump him because of his lowsy attitude.

That bit about being depressed, unstable, whatever is just a cop

out. Do not accept it! Two years ago when my thyroid swung into

hyper drive, they wouldn't test me and kept insisting it was anxiety

(without any labs!). If I had accepted that I would still be

experincing heart palpitations and all the hyper symptoms and be

addicted to xanax and ativan - hardcore drugs that are not long term

solutions. I am convinced the docs were looking for the easy way

out rather than address the problem.

I am doing great but that is because I sought out the root cause and

addressed that. I do not need any drugs other than my thyroid

medication.

Sherry

P.S. I have seen reports that thyroid is worse in the winter. Not

sure why. So, yes that builds a case for seasonal fluctuations.
