Autism Specialists of Chicago, Inc. provides assessment services,

behavioral consultation, and on-site intensive behavior intervention for

children ages

2-12.

Methodology

Our teaching methods are based on the principles of Applied Behavior

Analysis (ABA), with an emphasis on Verbal Behavior, inclusive of Natural

Environment Training.

We utilize empirically validated teaching techniques tailored to each

child's specific needs to keep learning fun!

Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts have extensive formal training and

experience as defined by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board

(www.bacb.com) to provide services to children with Autism. All of our

BCBA’s are members

of the Behavior Analysis Society of IL, Association for Behavior Analysis,

and are faculty members of the accredited ABA program at The Chicago School of

Professional Psychology.

The majority of our teaching assistants are students enrolled in the

graduates ABA program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA®), in conjunction with our

behavior specialists can provide consultation and direct therapy to demonstrate

progress through objective measures:

We provide programming that may focus on enhancing the following skills:

• Attention and ation• Motivation for Learning • Verbal Behavior/

Communication Skills • Self –help and toileting• Play and leisure

Skills•

Social interaction • Supplemental academic programming

• Improving school readiness • Other developmentally appropriate skills

Programming may focus on the reduction of challenging behaviors such as:

• Non- compliance • Self Injurious Behavior • Tantrums • Stereotypy

• Transitioning Difficulties • Other problematic or disruptive behaviors

Fees

An initial registration fee is required at enrollment for in-depth

assessment.

Rates are billed on an hourly basis.

We bill insurance and early intervention. However, clients are responsible

for final payment.
