Guest guest
I am trying to teach a child with Autism how to blow her nose. I have tried the cotton ball on construction paper someone told me about which worked great for the concept of blowing through the nose. I have been trying to shape this behavior into blowing into a tissue. Does anyone have any idea or experience with this on how I can best accomplish this? Also, she is currently sick and is afraid to blow through her nose, even the cotton ball, I think this may be a sensory issue, or fear of the mucus coming out. If anyone can help me help her through this process better I would really appreciate it. Thank you!
