I've been listening to the podcasts for a few weeks now, and perhaps they helped over the holidays, but I still gained 4-5 pounds from november to now (insert frownie face). Well, I'm on a mission to become slender. I've got some positive intentions for today I'm currently eating! a breakfast with protein and fiber. yum. I wrote in my success journal last night. I did a mental re-do while in a drugged Xmas stupor* last night. And a preview for this morning's breakfast. *We went on a buying spree to Target and picked up more ornaments than you can fathom, as well as a 7 foot prelit, remote-controlled tree, all for 250 dollars. It's a little odd to shop on the 29th, but I had been visiting relatives since the 20th (weight gain anyone?) My mama's a binge-eater-food-addict, and I realized for once how scared I was for her. See, she was just Dx'd with thyroid cancer a few weeks ago, and is on a no-iodine diet in preparation for her treatment. Still, she was SNEAKING food. what a mess. This is her LIFE at stake.
