Hi Everyone! Another newbie to the group... I listened to the

prologue podcast and went back for all the rest that are available

through iTunes. I have been struggling for a few years now with my

weight and listening to these episodes have already helped me

tremendously. I can't wait to hear the rest.. I am at episode 23 now.

Eventually I will catch up :)Cathleen

I am 51 years old, live in Florida. Moved here to FL 6 years ago now.

Was originally from Maine. Big adjustment moving so far from home

and everything and everyone I knew.

I was here a little over a year when I had a heart attack... major

lifestyle change.

The following year I had to have a complete hysterectomy.

Needless to say between the 2, feelings of depression, anxiety,

missing home and family I have exploded to an all time weight gain. I

have been slightly over weight prior to all this happening, but for

the first time in my life I weigh over 200 lbs.

I have tried everything.... done everything... drank everything...

taken every pill there is to take and still lose no weight.

I was so excited to here 's podcasts and have been listening to

them religiously every day from the first one on... I am up to #28 now.

All I can say is that they seem to be helping... I feel better about

myself and calmer. I am even able to stop eating... rather than just

eat all day long like I did before... I now eat meals.. push my plate

away without having to eat everything on it. This is a major

accomplishment for me.

My one goals is to at least get back to my weight range for my heigth.

Which is 136 to 158 or thereabouts. I will be happy to weigh 158

again.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone here.
