Guest guest
Very Cool, This is consistent with the whole mindful eating concept. It's harder to overeat when one is able to focus on the food, rather than the TV or PC or whatnot. I try to do this sometimes, but it causes me strange anxiety. I dunno. confusing. Guest guest
I love it, too. I will incorporate that today! On another note, DH had surgery on Thursday he can do nothing for many weeks The upside is I have a new appreciation for all he he does for our family. I plan to remember that to strengthen our marriage. The downside is my self care when out the window on Friday and I am paying for it today with sore muscles (cut, dragged, loaded, installed and deco'd 8 ft. XMas tree MYSELF!) and exhaustion. Tonight when the kids went to bed I went straight for the sugary cereal and when that didn't satisfy me, I ate lots of chocolate. I haven't done that in many weeks. Tomorrow I will remember to put my own mask on before helping DH. I am no good to anyone if I don't feel my best. That thought alone will put to rest any guilt feelings I might have over renewing my spirit. None of you could possibly know how much I have incorporated your suggestions into my daily life. Each of you is responsible for helping me become my best self and I thank you sincerely for it. Next time you feel you have fallen short in some way, remember that by reaching out to this group, you have made a difference in my life. Guest guest
Ate two Lean Pockets sandwiches in my NSE chair for breakfast, they did not taste that good, way tooooo much bread (I can't believe I just said toooo much bread) and not enough inside them. At the store they sure looked great and I was really looking forward to them. Guess the joke was on me. lol Think I will make my own next time. > I'm sure that all of you only eat at your tables. Never on the coach or in front of the CP, ect..... Well this girl eats where ever and the never at the table when I'm eating food my body does not need. Hence, for the last few days I have " invited " myself to do all my eating at the table. I have even started calling the chair I set in my 'NATURALLY SLENDER EATER' chair. I find my eating is more mindful when I am in my NSE chair. yesterday I was not feeling well and I have a strong history of eating more than my body needs when I don't feel well...which I might have done but it was all done in my NSE chair which made me feel good. I'll keep your posted on how it goes.
