Guest guest
Hi, its great to see other Aussies here - we seem to be scattered all around the country, I'm from Sydney. We seem to be much slower at adopting new technology than our American friends - I've tried to sing the praises of podcasts (particularly IOWL) but haven't had much success yet. As others have said so often, this is a great place to be - and the support is warm and wonderful. I was the same as you - always hungry - but 's saying 'hunger is just a feeling' (I think it was episode 9), now I only enjoy eating if I am quite hungry; so now for me hunger is a good thing! Good luck Cheers Carol ________________________________ To: insideoutweightloss Sent: Monday, December 29, 2008 7:35:12 AM Subject: Hello from Downunder Hi I have just joined this group. I have always struggled with feeling hungry (all the time!) I am a very busy person, very busy lifestyle, and do most things well except weight loss! I also have hashimoto thyroidism, but I feel that is under control. I am approaching my 40th birthday, and would like to loose weight. I currently weigh 107 kilos. (I got down to 93 kilos about two years ago, and then had a really busy month March 2008, and put the lost back on ) Realistically at this stage I would be happy to get down to 100 kilos and work from theer I look forwardf to the support of this group. I am from Brisbane Australia, hubby & 2 kids (9 & 12),a new puppy, 3 chickens. I run my own business from home - so yes lack of time is my biggest issue!! Guest guest
Hi Carol, I am a podcast nut. I love them. I tried another weight loss one, but it was 'if I can do it so can you ' attitude....which I did not connect with. I have managed to turn a few people on them, and they have been so impressed once they are there!! I am at lesson two. I am planning to listen to it again tomorrow, with a journal. I guess I also lack motivation, because I am pretty happy with everything in my life, I rationally know I need to lose weight though... Thank-you for all the support! > > Hi, its great to see other Aussies here - we seem to be scattered all around the country, I'm from Sydney.
