Guest guest
Hi new members, and it's great to check in and see so many posts! I am finding that I am enjoying processing one or two new thoughts/ways of thinking at a time. Permanent change doesn't necessarily happen quickly. Processing new ideas and moving them into my belief system takes a little time. But I feel like I've made some major headway in this area since beginning to listen to 's podcasts. I am regularly asking myself if I am hungry, and if I want to eat something in particular. My husband loves to cook when he is home, and I am often saying, " No thanks " when he offers to make me something to eat. Also, I have begun to stop before my plate is empty--realizing I'm full enough. These two are big shifts in my thinking/behavior. Also, I am consciously trying to move more; both in actual exercising and also just getting off my butt and doing things instead of sitting still. I expect more changes to come, but these are really big for me right now, and I want to make them permanent changes. I believe these will begin to show on my body in the very near future. My husband has already noticed a big change in my behavior, and that feels really great. This is my year. I know it. I can embrace myself and not live in shame and guilt anymore. I'm pretty good right now, but I am getting better all the time! Have a great week, everyone!
