I know what you mean about island fever ....we were stationed at Hickam for three years, and while I truly loved Hawaii, I was sure ready to go to the mainland. I went to San Francisco, so you may have more of a culture shock than I did though Also thank you for the kind words on my post recently, truly meant alot to me. Guest guest
HI Penny from BC Canada Here: A couple of years ago I heard a song at a dance called " Sinnerman " it is a Nina Simone tune that has been remixed on Verve remixed 2. Anyways i can't listen to that song without moving some part of my body. After that I got hooked on dancing. In the beginning the only other member of my family that was interested in this was our dog " Brady " who would quickly join in when I would be dancing alone in the living room. My husband will join in occasionally but I prefer to dance alone as I have more space to myself. So now that I have joined itunes I have found many songs that have the same efect on me. They just make me want to move. This is all it takes for me to get off my case about going on the treadmill or any other 'should' exercise. Little things have made a big difference in my mood and this is definitely one of them. I encourage you to FIND YOUR SONG. It definitley changed the vibrational energy in our home. P.S. Even my 17 year old daughter who joins in.
