Positive Practice:

How to potty train children with special needs

Adapted from the Foxx & Azrin potty training program

For Parents & Professionals

Wednesday, June 6th 6:00-8:00pm

Early registration $20 per person, 2 for $30 (family members)

Speakers:

Mindy , M.Ed., Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst,

graduated from Texas Christian University in 1992 with a Bachelor's

Degree in Education then received and a Master's Degree in Education

from University of Texas in 1996. She is a certified Special Education

teacher with nine years of experience in teaching students with autism

and other developmental disabilities in both public and private

schools. In 2001 she began her training in Applied Behavior Analysis

and Verbal Behavior as a lead teacher at the Horizon Program and

continued the practice in a one-on-one setting as a lead therapist at

the Horizon Clinic. Currently she serves as the Director of Community

Outreach at CTAC and provides training for families and school

districts throughout Texas.

Cara Brown, Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst, graduated from

the University of Kentucky in 1999 with a Bachelor's Degree in Family

Studies. She has three years of experience working with children with

autism and their families in home-based programs and as lead therapist

at Behavioral Intervention For Autistic Children, Cara assisted

families with assessments, behavior needs and program management.
