Guest guest
Hi Joyce. I had both of mine replaced 9 years ago. Occasionally during flares, my knees still swell. Have you called your doctor? You should get it checked out. a On Mar 20, 2006, at 8:53 AM, joyce madine wrote: > Hi > I was wondering if anyone who has had knee replacements could > help me. Guest guest
Hi Joyce, I can't say that my knees are painful when I flare, they just feel a little swollen and are stiffer. If your are paining you so much that you can't sleep, I'd think a call to the doctor may be wise. Is it hot? Is it red? If so, I'd definitely see a doctor. a On Mar 20, 2006, at 10:45 AM, joyce madine wrote: > Hi a > Thanks for getting back to me. Guest guest
I'll second that, a. Sorry you are having this trouble, Joyce. I'd call your physician ASAP. You don't want to take a chance with your prosthesis. Especially since I think you're saying that only one of your knees is bothering you and you aren't flaring, I'd call immediately. Let us know what happens. Not an MD I'll tell you where to go! Guest guest
I am receiving my BCBA and I have a MA and am a certified sped teacher. I teach a prek autisitic class and use ABA principals, there are three other classes in district that don't use ABA principals. My sped director (who has little background in Autism) does not see the importance or value of ABA, he believes it is just DTI. He wants all the program to go to the SCERTS model. One, I have read about this model, but know little about it, has anyone implemented it? I am concerned greatly about the integrity of my program. I have had children from the other classes placed in my class due to the fact that their behaviors have not been able to be extinquished. I also use the ABLLS for all my assessment and program planning. So another question would be should I expect to start looking for other employment in another school district if the SCERTS model is going to be something that is not compatible with the ABA and VB principals that I use in my classroom.
