I need your help with the translation of the following term in capital letters

(I give you the context)

acuerdo, pero dice que el ministerio español de sanidad lo designa y acepta

el termino como " ensayo abierto "

Mari,

In Portuguese this can be translated as: Estudos em aberto de XXX (where

xxx is the product)

This means that both the patient and the doctor know the treatment type

(an open-label means it is not a blind , nor a double blind trial).
