Guest guest
I'd like to see if I can gain control of my weight and cholesterol without it first. Yes, me too. I know if we lose weight our cholesterol levels fall. That happened to me a few years ago when I lost weight. that time I ate 3 oat bran muffins a day as well as a sensible diet and lots of exercise. But it's surprising how easy it is to regain the weight, especially if you don't feel well or like going out much. Maybe we need to look at all of us and not just our chol. levels:) That time I lost weight I did'nt reach my goal so, if I had I'm sure my cho. levels would have bee near normal. susan
Guest guest
I read somewhere that Mevacor, one of the earliest statin drugs (and the one that I was on with nasty side effects) is derived from red yeast rice..Linden Maybe red yeast, in it's natural form and the way it would be prescribed by a Chinese practitioner, would be completely different to the statins that the drug companies churn out. I know it has been used for thousands of years in China and Japan for various compaints. We need to know what the active (statin) ingredient is n out medication.........if we can:)

Sometimes natural things work for the body when their chemical counterparts don't. Yours In Liberty, - Colorado, U.S.A.
