Guest guest
Hi All, Sorry for the crosspost, but I need as much advice as possible. I work with twins and they are in the process of being potty trained. Before I started with them, they were being taken every hour and receptively told to " go potty " once they got the the bathroom. When I started with them, we began by teaching them to sign (mand) for potty and then took them. Both started with every hour and now have increase to every 1.5-2 hours. The only prompt used is an expectant look around the time that they are to mand for potty or walking by the bathroom. We are having trouble as to how to fade these prompts and get independent mands for potty. Inconsistently the boys have left an activity to go to the potty, but that happens about 2 times aweek. Also, BM are inconsistent and generally average 1 accident a day. Any suggestions to help push them to the next level would be greatly appreciated. We are in push to have them fully trained by this next school year. Thanks,
