Guest guest
I understand what you mean about obsessed with you. Joei has the same compulsion to constantly say I love you, or having to hold my hand or following me and not lettting me out of her sight, etc. She had a short little break for a few weeks but the last few days it's been in full force, including her other thoughts. It definately is exhausting at times, that's for sure! Hang in there! ~~Kathy gkathy40@... http://www.myspace.com/clearingachannel yahoo messenger id gkathy40@... Courage is not living without fear. To: Date: Wednesday, December 3, 2008, 1:39 PM Sorry for being too vague. I meant obsessed with me. Clingy, yes, but also just having to touch me constantly and having to say " I love you " repeatedly. I suppose of all the obsessions he could have, it's not that bad, but it can still wear me out! As far as the neuro transmitter meds, our doctor tests his neuro transmitters and sends the test to a company called Neuro Science who in turn puts together nutrients to address Josiah neuro transmittter irregularities. We've had a lot of success, but as you know, had to add Prozac recently. The Dr. feels that according to the tests, Josiah's body was making enough serotonin, but another brain chemical was " off " and causing his body to use it way too fast. The prozac is helping his body use it more slowly. We are looking into what we can do naturally to support this chemical so that when he gets off the Prozac someday, he will be more balanced. I'll let you know how it goes when we get to that point. Thanks for asking. Guest guest
I'm really glad you understand. It's not something easy to explain. We're really trying to teach him about personal space but it seems so hard for him to deny his compulsions. Hopefully in time he'll get better.
