how to improve recall memory

my son with autism his speech is very much affected, we live in a

place where there are no proper facilities for autism, But I had been

to US so I have learnt the methods they use and train him now his

speech is getting better but he remebers the words which ar ein his

immediate memory but recalling memory has not improved he needs

prompts anybody can help me out how to improve his recalling memory so

that he can say more words without prompts,any advice will be

appreciated
