Guest guest
Dear Brain Trust, I am working with a toy/teacup poodle who has slow osteolysis of the carpal bones. She has been supported in splints for years now and lives in the owners' arms. (She has limited daily walks) They take wonderful care of her. We periodically see her, and work on her arching back and dorsiflexed neck that come with minimal weightbearing on her front legs. I would like to fashion a "wheelchair" for her chest and front legs. Her back legs function well. Has anyone seen any that work well; any ideas on where to look for one and what potential hazards to look out for? Thanks in advance, Shauna Cantwell, DVM MVSc Diplomate ACVA Always Helpful Veterinary Services 305 Nottingham RoadNottingham, PA 19362ph fax
