Guest guest
- never heard of the IV Vit C and I can't comment on the O2 either unless they are speaking of supplemental O2 which might help rest his lungs and provide alittle extra help during problem times. I hope he's better soon and able to stay well. Ursula - & Macey (4 yr old w/CVID) mom http://home.att.net/~maceyh/ any thoughts???? From: T0872@... Sorry I haven't written in awhile, our computer has been down and we couldn't get the part we needed....ugh. Does anyone know anything about intravenous vitamin c or oxygen therapy???? They are both supposed to be effective treatments for pneumonia and menegitus. I understand they are more widely used in Europe. has had several sinus infections over the past three months, but we've kicked them all with kali bic. His IGG and pneumococcals continue to be very low....almost non existant.....pretty scary at this time of the year. He has been great otherwise. Sorry to hear of everyone elses sick kids, hope my computer gets fixed so I can respond more often. Best wishes for everyone and good health in 2000. , mom to (2 1/2, IGG def)
Guest guest
: Glad to hear you got your computer fixed, and to the therapy, O2 is used in Holland alot. We use it here only as alternative therapy,my daughters Pneumococcals are non functioning and we just rely on the IVIG to keep her healthy. Hope the rest of the year is good and everyone stays healthy. Have a Happy New Year. regards, annette and alissa >From: T0872@... >Reply-To: PedPIDonelist >To: PedPIDonelist >Subject: any thoughts???? >Date: Tue, 28 Dec 1999 20:27:41 EST > >Sorry I haven't written in awhile, our computer has been down and we >couldn't >get the part we needed....ugh. > >Does anyone know anything about intravenous vitamin c or oxygen therapy???? >They are both supposed to be effective treatments for pneumonia and >menegitus.
