Madison, Wisconsin area schools...

Hi everyone,

I have a friend that will be moving from Georgia to Madison, WI late spring.

Does anyone have any info on the surrounding schools in Madison area? Her

daughter is in first grade and has autism. My friend has been doing a home

program (for years) and her daughter just started a private autism program

this past fall. She is looking to see what the public and non-public schools

have to offer. Her daughter is nonverbal, however communicates through sign

language. Her daughter is considered high functioning, however understanding

language is a huge deficit. She is hoping there is a public school out

there that can meet her daughter's needs.
