Guest guest
Great idea with having him help you with the laundry! Â I'm confused as to the connection with the remotes and the urinating issue. Does he feel the need to turn the tech off before he will go to the bathroom? Re: Re:bed wetting Jordana We left the TV in his room, but took his remote. so far so good. I failed to mention that he is doing it on the floor too, wherever he is pushing buttons. So play station 2 gone, TV stayed, but no remote. He wants to put the play station in the living room, but I hesitate. Want to discuss with his therapist the best way to handle this. I also had him help me wash all the bedding......he didn't realize it took 4 loads to just wash his bedding. he got to put it in the washer and move it to the dryer, he helped make the bed, kinda, but its a double bed and he's a little kid....so he just helped. but I do think it had in impact, and he realized why mom was so frazzled. He didn't care much for doing laundry....yipee! Maybe the lesson will stick. 20 In a message dated 12/14/2008 5:08:06 P.M. The less washing you have to do, the better because this is a LOT of work for you! Another thought I have for you is to not let him be in his bed unless he is actually closing his eyes and going to sleep. I would take out the tv and anything else that adds time to his being in bed. He needs to appreciate the enormous toll this is taking on you, and not having the tv in his bedroom is one way to make him more motivated to earn it back by overcoming this problem. I have found with my daughter that the right motivation makes it easier for her to fight an OCD fear. **************Make your life easier with all your friends, email, and favorite sites in one place.
