Guest guest
Hi When you lined up your OT, did you use the one the Dr. recommended. If not how did you go about choosing one? I've got to find an OT for Micah, his hand writing is now back to what it looked like in 2nd grade. He is losing this skill, just since 5th grade. I watched a video on the TS web site for OTs. It was very helpful. It does say that it may take some searching though to find an OT that has good training in working with TS, OCD and Dysgraphia. Looked at the OT web site for MO, but they list no names. Thanks In a message dated 11/22/2008 3:38:05 P.M. Central Standard Time, @... writes: Hi BJ, the occupational therapy really helped. His writing was better and legible after it. And wanted to add that the neurologist did prescribe OT for him and helped insurance cover it. But an additional thought is if I had needed to use some type " proof " for insurance purposes is that I could show 's writing BEFORE his OCD began and then AFTER it began, it was like a " lost skill " that he could have rehabilitation on so that helped his insurance pay for OT. Some insurance won't pay to, say, improve a skill but if a skill is " lost " will pay for therapy. in NC **************One site has it all.
