That was very beautiful a. A healthy way to deal with your grief, and what

a memorial to him. Have you thought of typing it up on some beautiful paper a

child would love, laminating it, and putting it at the gravesite? Others who are

in moments of grief as you were will draw comfort from it too, as they make

their trek through the cemetary for a last good bye. I appreciate them when I

need to be in that corner of our small world. Just a thought. Sorry it was

tragedy that inspired such beautiful words. Your nephew will always be in your

heart. When it is too much to do by yourself, don't. Let God Handle It!

Oh, I thought I was done. but here is a poem that inspires me. It reminds me

that once I give a problem or heartache to God, to let him have it, to work it

out, and not to fight his efforts to help me. I don't know who wrote it, but it

has helped me many times. Hope you enjoy it too.

LET GO!

As a child brings his broken toys with tears for us to mend,

I brought my broken dreamS to God, because he was my friend.

But then, instead of leaving him in peace... to work alone...

I hung around and tried to " help " in ways that were my own.

At last, I snatched them back...and cried, " Oh God, How can you be so slow? "

" My child " , He said, " What could I do? You never did let go. "

following poem for him and the pastor read it at the funeral:

A Beautiful Child You Are

Life Came To An End So Soon

But A New Life For You Has Begun

In Heaven's Holy Playroom

Singing And Dancing With The Angels

Flying With Wings Made Of Gold

Comfort In The Arms Of Jesus

Sitting On God's Lap On The Throne

The Ache In My Heart From Missing You

But Peace In Knowing You're Home

The Tears That Come When I Think Of You

Asking God To Help Me Be Strong

I Will Love You Forever And Miss You

Wish I Could See You Again

Hold You And Never Let Go Of You

Wishing It Never Had To End

Thank also for divulging that you suffer from depression and fatigue. I made the assumption that you were some Vulcan god of strength - you have showed me how Human we all are. We can all help each other. Sometimes divulging your own weaknesses can give other people hope because they know they are not alone.Thank you Vergel,Sincerely, Madrid

You welcome! I know what I know because of personal experience. After living with this virus for 21 years and NEVER having undetectable viral load and failing all 20 drugs, I suffer from fatigue, depression and dirrhea as a constant thing in my life. And I travel weekly around the country, carrying my pills and my B-12, testosterone, deca durabolin and Fuzeon injections with me (it feels like I am a walking pharmacy)

I give thanks to the higher powder for giving me access to treatments, for the best family and partner anyone can have, for internet groups like this one and for great friends. I would not trade my life for that of anyone else, even with my health condition.

Even with our problems, we are blessed. Just pass it on. Help someone in greater need than you, and your life will improve tremendously!

Hi everyone,

I just want to thank all those who took time and e-mailed their congressperson or senator over the last 6 months. The in flow of e-mails has become a extremely useful tool in our advocacy efforts to help get reauthorization of the CARE Act and help SAVE ADAP. The number of e-mails this time showed we will fight on for all through this means.

Happy Holidays

A big thank you to everyone who has replied to my initial e-mail regarding

having two children with OCD. I have been feeling somewhat flawed since my

daughter began having symptoms too. Even though I know in my heart genetics has

to have something to do with it..I can't help feeling guilty and I guess, just

less then as a parent. I scheduled an appointment with a therapist I used to see

for my OCD, and she said that my kids were lucky to have a Mom who recognized it

and knew what to do from the onset..She told me I was a great Mom, and that

helped me feel a little bit better, but it's just very hard to see your kids

suffer. Especially, with something you have struggled with personally. I guess

it's just helpful to know that I'm not the only one that struggles with this

problem.

Thank's again,

Rain

Dear ,

At my core I believe profoundly that there is dignity in every person

and all people should be treated as such. You could say that I think

my soul's gift is to treat people in such a manner and I have you to

thank for discovering this gift. I'm afraid an earlier post was not

consistent with this belief and for that I am sorry. I have lost

between 12-15 pounds in the last few months since I have begun

listening to your podcasts. I recently made a list of all the gifts

my heavier self has given to my slimmer self and thought I'd share

them with you and the group:

A better marriage

More happiness

Greater understanding of my character

Greater health with more exercise, better diet and a lower weight

More confidence

Greater self-trust

Forgiveness and understanding to my younger self who made mistakes

Freedom from cravings

Lower dosage of antidepressants

Permission to put myself first

You have given me more tools in the last four months to have achieved

these gifts than one silly show could take away. I wish you and your

family peace as you get past this difficult time.

I would like to thank you all for the links and info you shared for my niece - seeds are planted and we shall see where God will lead.

An encouraging side note: a few (totally unexpected) friends have inquired into NFP since then.
