Guest guest
---Hi Jenn, You're absolutely right, it is the t2201. It was a 1 page form that usually is included in everyones tax form package. I filled in most of it and the doctor put a few notes along with his signature. It was really easy. We did this in 2003 I think and we received our benefits retroactive to the year he was born. It is worth the effort to make an appointment with a pediatrician(bring the form with you!) Sandy Cdn mom to ! There is something from Revenue Canada, a deduction called the T2201 (if my memory serves me correctly) that is for children with special needs. Communication is one of the factors for qualifying and it can be communication alone to qualify. The process is long (I think around 6 months, a team of medical doctors as the reviewing board) and a medical doctor has to fill out the paperwork for Rev Can but if your child qualifies it can make a difference (not income based, anyone can apply) on your taxes. > Hope this can help some members on the group. > Jenn > >
Guest guest
<http://www.sunlightlessive.ca/story/> http://www.sunlightlessive.ca/story/ I just saw a sunlight commercial and one of the families that has a chance to win a backyard make over has a child with autism. Let's get behind them and help them win! It's easy, just go to the link above and vote for Lianne!
