Guest guest
Hi everyone, I wanted to let you all know about a software program we've developed over the last few years to help facilitate the process of collecting evaluation and re-check details and turning that data into a follow-up letter to the referring veterinarian. For background, we at TOPS had struggled with how to efficiently get high quality, error free, professional letters out in a timely manner. We were spending literally hours preparing these letters. Hours that we could have been seeing patients or handling other duties. Over the last year we've developed a tool called Matrix which collects this information via a laptop or tablet pc, and then immediately prepares a letter that can be sent to the referring vet. We now literally have the capability to not only get the letter out to the referring vet the same day, but also to give the client a copy of the letter prior to them leaving the appointment. We have been asked by a number of folks to make this software available to others, which is the reason for this note. We have modified the software to make it customizable for any clinic. If, like us, you also practice holistic medicine, it can optionally incorporate some of these modalities. One of the cool things about it is that by collecting the range of motion information in a standard format, and then marrying that with the breed information about the case, we may potentially be able to aggregate all the information from all users and deliver to the rehab world range of motion normals by breed, something that I think would benefit everyone. We've had another user outside of TOPS testing for us and we've had very positive feedback from them. If you have any interest in this tool, an evaluation version of a beta copy is available at www.tops-vet-solutions.com/matrix.html. The evaluation version is the actual program, but some functionality is limited or unavailable (spellcheck, printing of reports, limits to the number of clients). Please note that the tops-vet-solutions.com website is still being populated so the rest of that site is pretty scarce. If you have any questions, Tom, my husband and the writer of the program, can be reached at sales@... or his cp (847)732-5271.
