Guest guest
Thanks for sharing - Do you suggest other resources for AV training - trying to figure out what I should be doing, I was thinking about the clicker idea She has a few number of mands, especially if I count the " What's this? " statements - which I was not thinking of before it was suggested to me So I gather I can work on more mands but encouraging her to ask for things, giving snacks and desired items in smaller quantities so she has to ask for it. She likes me to play guitar, so I play a little and quit, so she ask to request it again. I will try tracking mands. Did you record data over time? With tacts, I try pointing out objects and we name them. Also, have used flash cards, photos. She can tact many objects, although at time discriminating certain things is hard for her - mixes flowers and butterflies. I try to make anything educational, going for a walk, etc. With AVB do you track tacts in some way? More recently, I started trying the " errorless learning " concept.... So, I will say, " Let's get in the car, what do we have to do to get in the car? Open the door. " and get her to repeat " Open the door " in response? Am I on the right track, tips, suggestions, resources?
