Guest guest
Hi Barb, actually no I didn't know. Could you explain more. I know when he left for school this morning he was having a rough time. ticing, repeating his sentences, even with the carpet. I hadn't seen the carpet problem in a week or more. I guess I should start keeping notes...as it all runs together. Thanks barb, In a message dated 12/17/2008 10:41:05 A.M. Guest guest
Just seems to happen for many that as the brain chemistry adjusts to medications you see an increase in symptoms and sometimes other things. Think it's a combo of the effect of the med, positive/negative, and the idea that any change has an impact on the OCD, be it a cold, life change, stress of any kind. It settles down as the dose becomes stable, but as you increase or decrease their is the instability again, so same increase in symptoms. Our experience anyway, and others have related the same. > > Hi Barb, > actually no I didn't know. Guest guest
I am keeping my fingers crossed that this will provide the needed help that your son needs. Re: Re:bed wetting Barb Hey Barb, Micah got to go early, it was March...but they had a cancellation, and we grabbed it. He started on 5mg lexapro 7 days ago, today he switched to 10mg. So far to the only change is an improvement in his handwriting. He was having a rough morning today....repeating sentences, until they sounded right....and he was ticing (TS). I hope his day goes well. He also has an appt with his therapist today. Yes...he wasn't impressed with laundry at all. In a message dated 12/17/2008 12:12:07 A.M. Good life lesson for future life partner to learn, never mind re the OCD! I forget when it is that you get to see someone about medication, is it soon? I sure hope so, could make all the difference in managing everything. Hugs! Barb **************One site keeps you connected to all your email: AOL Mail, Gmail, and Yahoo Mail. Try it now.
