Guest guest
Extended Summer School Program for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders June 11 – August 10 The Applied Behavior Center of Indiana for Autism will be holding its ESY program at its Castleton, Indiana location. The Extended School Program is available for children ages 3 and up with autism spectrum disorder. There are no prerequisites; however our team will discuss placement with each family and determine if placement within our program will be beneficial to your child. We work with a variety of different children and approach each child's education with the individual attention that it deserves. The school year program operates from 8:30-4:00 Monday thru Thursday and from 8:30-3:00 every Friday. On these Fridays, the staff holds training sessions and meetings to provide the best continuing service to our clients. *Additional therapy hours and after school care may be available and will be scheduled on an individual basis During our school year program, we work on retaining current skills, teaching new academic skills, shaping inappropriate or maladaptive behaviors, communication, and socialization. Our program operates on a 1:1 ratio. Your child's instructor will have a college degree in related field, such education or psychology. In addition, each of our instructors goes through intensive training in Applied Behavior Analysis and other proven methodologies that may help each child learn better.
